Clay Flower - Oncidium

Took a break from the blog. Was learning a new craft. Also my younger son had his exams, was helping him out.

You may think the flowers look like some paper mache item. Even I thought the same when I saw them first. But believe me or not, the entire thing, the stem and the shrubbery around the stem included, are made of clay. I spent some time trying this out, and this is one of the first few of my products in this range. I will post some other items which I have made similar to this soon.
